The Malvern Kitchen
This project saw me work on the re-design of a kitchen and living area in a busy family suburban town house in Malvern, focusing closely on the maximisation of both space and light. Partition walls were designed to be knocked through in both the living room and kitchen, creating a large open plan living, kitchen and dining space. With the entirety of walls replaced with bi-folds on the Northern and Eastern facades.
Following an inner urban themed style the natural core of the space focussed on using raw materials such as concrete and timber. Black cabinetry and framed windows create an element of drama whilst splashes of colour through artwork and soft furnishings introduced a playful side, also helping to brighten and relax the area.
